About WaterTight Roofing & Exteriors
WaterTight Roofing & Exteriors is a family business that has been roofing Indianapolis homes since 1939, now led by Richard Hathaway Jr. from an office on West Washington Street on the west side. The company replaces and repairs shingle roofs, takes on commercial work, and handles gutters, siding, and windows, so one crew can look after most of the outside of a house. Storm and insurance work is part of the mix after central Indiana's spring hail and wind.
The warranty is the detail to know. WaterTight's site offers a lifetime labor and workmanship warranty that transfers to the next owner, which covers the installation itself, not just the shingles, and can be a selling point if you move. It installs Malarkey and Owens Corning shingles, so there's a choice of lines and colors. It fits a homeowner who wants an established family company and a warranty that stays with the house.
