M H R is also an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor. Owens Corning is a major shingle manufacturer, and that designation allows M H R to offer the company's Preferred Protection warranty on qualifying roof systems. Owens Corning says the upgraded coverage can protect against manufacturing defects for 50 years, including covered replacement labor, and include 10 years of workmanship coverage. The warranty is not automatically included with every roof, but it gives homeowners a stronger option than the standard material warranty when the complete qualifying system is part of the contract.
